Change is hard and leading people through change is harder. In order to make it easier for organization to accept Agile, often people leading the Agile Adoption attempt to customize Agile Frameworks to meet the way organization is used to working. Such attempts result in organizations adopting "Hybrid Agile" and defeat the purpose of adopting true Agile ways of working.
Presently, there are multiple standardized team and organization level Agile Frameworks available in the market. These frameworks have gone through years of evolution, industry adoption and improvements made with continuous feedback and collaboration and most importantly they work!
Avoid customizing Agile to blend with traditional ways of working in the organization instead choose standard Agile Frameworks and stick with them.
